Great ideas and recipes. What about your version of the cucumber ranch dressing from Celebration Restaurant in Dallas? Care to share that too? Thanks!

Hi Charles...I don't think we've met (altho that certainly would have been possible), but I traveled many of the same roads. I attended the original MTL course in the fall of 85 (the first course offered in one weekend, in Atl). I know, have trained with, and value each person you mentioned and Jenny is a treasured friend. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

(If you are a photographer, check out my new website done just for fun, containing my photos from many trips around the world as well as several of my journals. Jean

Anni, Thank you so much for your wonderful words. I remember well the excitement about MTL expanding into S. Africa. Hopefully we can meet in person at some time.

Ah, so many memories reading your blog. I was very active in MTL in Johannesburg the 1990's, alongside all the trainers you mention, except Richard Perry. And Jenny Meadows is a dear friend of mine. I became a psychologist as a result of my involvement in the programme and Brad's encouragement, and now work in private practise. What a powerful influence MTL has been in my life. And I realise how often I use my MTL experience to help discern what is useful, and what is my own stuff, in my work as a therapist. Thank you so much.

Hey Charles ... I did send a reply before, but my technical expertise may have been a bit lacking (OK, missing altogether). Anyway, thank you for your acknowledgment and for posting about Lily's essay. She's an amazing young woman, and you are big-hearted man, sharing yourself fully - just as I remember from the times we got to hang out in each other's presence. And now we are in each other's presence in a different way.
So glad to be reconnected ...
Much love to you, as always,
ann mc

What a great post! Lily told me about her essay being posted on your site and I had to check it out. Not only was it a treat to read her eloquent essay I'm also personally touched by your post. Being raised around the Kairos Foundation has shaped my life in many ways and sometimes I believe intentionality is one of the most valuable gifts gleaned from the many years of exposure. Charles, thank you for your words, giving Lily a forum for her writing and providing a very tantalizing recipe for a burgeoning gourmand.
