Reminds me of the time Byron found mushrooms in our yard while mowing the grass. I yelled out the back door and told him he missed the grass under the tree and his friend said they could not mow there. I asked why not and was told by this little boy that there were mushrooms there. He picked them, told me how to cook them and we were hooked on morel mushrooms. Your wild miner's salad sounds very good.
