Video: How to Shuck and Clean Cockles for Chowder

One of the joys of living in Oregon if you love shellfish is that on a minus tide you can head to many of our bays and easily find cockles. All you need is a garden rake and a 5-gallon bucket to bring the cockles home in some seawater. In this video, I show you how to shuck and clean cockles for chowder.
